Keith Morrison ... Photographer, Skateboarder, College Student, Friend, Son
Keith examines and chooses the slides he will scan for his Photo Seminar final project on skateboarding. Before selling the majority of his photo equipment in order to switch to digital, Keith owned a Nikon F100 and shot Fuji Velvia 100.
Keith covers an Iraq war protest on the Trenton Bridge as a freelance photographer for the Northeast Times.
Keith works in the darkroom about 3 times a week changing the chemicals and helping basic photo students with their exposure, dodge/burn and contrast questions.
Keith stares at his computer screen. He spends a lot of time on the computer because of his job. He makes an effort to post photos on his photoblog.
If Keith or his roommates feel like skateboarding but don’t feel like going outside, they use a ramp they set up in their kitchen to satisfy the urge to jump and practice a trick.
Skating around the Spruce Street Subway is one of Keith’s favorite pastimes, especially if it’s raining or extra cold outside. He likes to head down there to skate with his friends and hide out for a while.
Keith falls attempting a trick. He doesn’t get to skateboard as much as he would like to since school and work are getting busier as the semester goes on.
Keith lounges in his sister Audrey’s room at home. He considers Aud one of his closest friends.
Keith shakes his dad’s hand before heading to his own place in center city. Keith and his father did not have the best relationship when Keith was younger, but now he and his dad are very close.
